Whitkirk Arts Guild is an amateur dramatics society based in East Leeds. We have been performing pantomimes, musicals and plays in Whitkirk since our first production of Orange Blossoms in 1952. In 2012 we celebrated 60 years of amateur dramatics at Whitkirk, and over 180 amazing plays, pantomimes, musicals and revues.
Thursday 14th to Saturday 16th September 2017
Let us take you on the journey of a lifetime – from the joy of birth to the reflections of death and everything in between – in a mix of music and spoken word.
This September popular local dramatics group Whitkirk Arts Guild will take to the stage on a musical journey through life. With table seating and a bar open all three nights it's a great midweek bit of theatre, end of the week celebration with friends or a weekend show to remember.
Tickets are now available for our 2017 musical revue It's My Life. Come and join us this September as we explore the story of a life in song and spoken word, through childhood and teenage angst, love and the daily grind, and the reflections of old age.
Packed full of the usual Whitkirk Arts Guild blend of humour, wit and emotion this promises to be an evening to make you laugh, cry and think. With cabaret-style seating around tables and the bar open every night it's the perfect way for you and friends to unwind midweek, celebrate the start of the weekend or kick back on a Saturday night.
