If you’ve ever thought about being involved in a stage show we’re always ready to welcome new members! From those who want to take the spotlight with principal roles and solo numbers through to those who prefer to simply be in the chorus our shows have something for everyone. If you’d rather be behind the scenes moving scenery or learning to work with some of the most cutting-edge technology in amateur theatre you’re welcome to come along as well.

We meet on most Wednesdays between 7.30pm and 10.00pm in St Mary’s Church Hall in Whitkirk, and usually follow up with drinks and socialising in the local pub. Our membership is open to anyone over the age of 18 who has left full-time education, with no need to audition to join us.

Not only do we put on at least two shows every year but we make sure there’s a lively social calendar for our members as well, with informal get-togethers, weekends away, formal dinners and more.

Whatever your interests either just come along on a Wednesday or contact us through the online form to find out more. Whitkirk Arts Guild can either be your little creative outlet or be a major part of your life. Whichever it is, we’re sure you’ll find being part of our Society a friendly and enjoyable experience.
